My name is Chris Wiggin and I am proud to be a Parish Councillor in Hampton, a post I have held since being elected in 2016. I have lived in and around the Peterborough area most of my life and attended school in the city prior to moving on to university. My family first moved to Hampton in 2005 and I made my return to Hampton in 2011 and currently live with my partner in Hampton Vale.
Politics is my passion. I am a firm believer in community politics that empower local residents and give them a voice re decisions which
could affect them.
My aim is to do all I can to keep Hampton a great residential area.
I have reported numerous concerns over the last few years, in order they be put right, including parking issues and graffiti and am keen for further action to be taken to eradicate these problems.
Many of you will know me as a local Liberal Campaigner, however the Parish Council is composed of councillors with varying or no political bias at all. We work as a team for the greater good of the community. Although I have not served for long, I do have a strong vision for Hampton and I look forward to helping shape and develop the area and secure its future and prosperity.
